Christina McCracken has a Master’s degree in post secondary counseling and more than 20 years of recruiting and career counseling experience. Prior to graduate school, Christina worked as a recruiter at Amazon, Vulcan and several start-ups. This combination of professional training as well as direct practical experience make her an expert on resume building, effective interviewing and salary negotiating.
Christina earned her Master’s degree in counseling at Seattle University. This has proved invaluable to helping clients discover their priorities, values and goals. Christina believes meaningful work can be achieved when people are intentional in planning their career and can clarify what is important to them and their life purpose. She views her role as a partner who helps people figure out who they are at their core; what they want to do to express their unique abilities and gifts; and how to create opportunities that reflect this.
Most recently, Christina served as a career counselor at Seattle Pacific University’s Center for Career and Calling, where she counseled individuals in the business school and taught highly-rated courses. Christina is currently co-leading the Prepare to Pivot career transition group sessions with Lucianne Hackbert, PhD.
The journey is one that requires courage, patience and commitment. Christina supports clients every step of the way, with the interpersonal work necessary to make this type of change and the tactical skills that lead to professional satisfaction.
Christina is passionate about her family, traveling, and life-long learning.
